Washington Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth (28)

Nash,

Need a guy or 2 to spark my outfield production, any hidden gems I should be looking at?!

Aaron

Well Aaron, I always feel that looking for outfield help is better than looking for infield help, especially middle infield. So, you are gonna be in pretty good shape, Let’s take a look at some guys that are spiking in ownership for good reason:

Lorenzo Cain. In spring training he was looking like the real deal. At the start of the season he was looking like an ST flash in the pan. Then he got hurt and looked like he was going to be a “maybe next year” guy. NOW, he is looking like the guy we thought he would be in Spring Training! Cain is hitting at a .364 clip in the last 15 games, with 3 homers, 13 RBI and a steal, This kid could be a steal in your league free agency! Add immediately!

Chris Young is another forgotten about guy because of injury and his slow return. However he is heating up again and if we can remember back to April and May, his new stance was serving him VERY well! He has 3 homers 3 steals in the last 15 games and is hitting .294, I have added him in leagues where he is available because of his power speed balance. who couldn’t use 10 more homers AND steals rest of the way?!

Brennan Boesch is another guy with a high ceiling entering the season because he was batting second in front of Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera. People quickly cooled on him as he had a long, slow start. Well he is catching fire now. In the last 15 games he has a .317 average to go along with 3 homers and 12 RBI. I like this kid very much the rest ofthe season as the Tigers have A LOT to play for!

Lastly, and the most commonly available guy I would target is Jayson Werth who should be back playing very soon and will fit nicely a top that sweet line-up they have in Washington. He is a guy that can get on base, steal and hit for power so I can see him leading off, second or 5th in a surging order with Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman!

Hope these suggestions help you the rest of the season Aaron!
