The latest episode of the Dear Mr. Fantasy Baseball Podcast is up.  Here’s a tweet sent by this week’s guest to announce it’s arrival:

As you can see, Chris McBrien and the Fantasy Doctor are joined this week by Jason Collette from Baseball Prospectus and RotoWire.

They play a game of “Who’d You Rather?” where they pick between keepers for the 2013 season based on tweets and emails from listeners. The guys then discuss Matt Kemp (LAD) and Miguel Cabrera (DET) in regard to their 2013 draft day fantasy baseball value.

They discussed players who ended the 2012 season on a hot streak: Norichika Aoki (MIL),Chris Davis (BAL) and Chris Nelson (COL). And players who ended the 2012 season on a cold streak: Brian McCann (ATL), Eric Hosmer (KC) andMark Trumbo (LAA). They are chatted about Waiver Wire pitchers for 2013, such as Jarrod Parker (OAK), Kyle Kendrick (PHI) and Marco Estrada (MIL).

All of the above players are discussed in regard to their expected 2013 fantasy baseball value.

Finally, the guys respond to emails in regard to fantasy baseball keepers for 2013 and they share how they finished in their fantasy baseball leagues, which undoubtedly was worse than Clave who finished in first in each of his three leagues.

Clave, years ago, won the very first fantasy baseball league he participated in. He wasn't invited back to that league (sore losers), so he gathered 14 of his friends and began the TunaCorn Fantasy Baseball League, a 7x7 roto league. His wife is awesome and he has two little girls that don't like baseball as much as they like dressing up as princesses.
